 ORIGLIA / MILAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR 2005


Since its establishment in 1940, till now, the industrial activity of Origlia group has considerably increased, both for contract and home furniture. The range of tables, chairs, furnishings and accessories currently offered by Origlia is one of the most comprehensive in the world. Highly technical large-scale production combines with stylish design to suit all environments: indoors or out, public spaces or private homes, offices or waiting areas.

The ten-year experience in manufactoring of materials, such as aluminium, cast-iron and wood, guarantees, thanks to the most advanced technologies and innovative design, a range of practical and reliable product.

In 2005 Origlia presents its Bonita collection, designed by Sergio Giobbi. The well conceived and manufactored collection costists of chairs, armchairs, benches/twin-seater items and stools.

Bonita - twin-seater with or without arms and with either polished or anodized extruded aluminium legs. Sides and arms in die-cast aluminium either polished or epoxy powder coated in RAL 9006 silver colour. Extruded anodized aluminium seat and back, either natural, black or coloured. Optionally available with hide fitted to seat and back.

Bonita - chair and armchair - either stackable, polished or anodized extruded aluminium legs. Sides and arms in die-cast aluminium either polished or epoxy powder coated in RAL 9006 silver colour. Extruded anodized aluminium seat and back, either natural, black or coloured. Optionally available with hide fitted to seat and back.

Bonita - barstool - with or without arms, and with either polished or anodized extruded aluminium legs . Sides and arms in die-cast aluminium either polished or epoxy powder coated in RAL 9006 silver colour. Footrest in outlined aluminium, either polished or anodized. Extruded anodized aluminium seat and back, either natural, black or coloured. Optionally available with hide fitted to seat and back. All designed by Segio Giobbi.

Besides the already mentioned Bonita by Sergio Giobbi, Origlia presents Fusioni – stools with bases, columns and foot-ring in satinized or polished stainless steel by Luigi OrigliaDama – barstools with upholstered seat and back, legs and foot-ring in anodized or polished aluminium by Luigi Origlia –, I rulli – perch for poseur table with 12mm solid ABET laminate uprights, footrests and end discs in stainless steel, padded and upholstered zippered beam by Luigi Origlia –, Plus – limitlessly stackable chair, copolymer polypropylene shell, anodized or polished aluminium legs by Ashley Hall and Matthew Kavanagh –, More – limitlessly stackable chair, copolymer polypropylene shell, chromed or aluminium colour epoxy powder coated steel legs by Ashley Hall and Matthew Kavanagh.

Finally, a special mention is also devoted to the Albero dei cappelli (Tree of hats) – a coat-stand tree in versions spring (SP) and Winter (WI) with trunk and branches in turned beech lacquered black or white, and multicoloured ABS hats. Die-cast iron base with sandblasted surface, lacquered black. In the natural (NA) version the trunk and branches are in natural turned beech and the hats are in 10 different wood types. The diecast iron base is then lacquered gun metal grey created by Ugo Nespolo in 1978.
