 HOUSE GARDEN ITALIA

House Garden Italia was created by the co-operation of two Tuscan companies that have manufactured solid wood structures for sofas and armchairs for more than 50 years. They're set in Quarrata district, which has always been famous for the classic moulded sofas.
The two companies aim to find new markets directing their experience towards new solutions. Consequently, House Garden has already started a commercial relation with other companies in Indochina in order to manufacture rattan wood furniture and complements. House Garden respects the agreement ILO No. 183 against the exploitation of young workers. This type of co-operation allows House Garden to keep costs low without sacrificing quality - in fact, all products have an Italian design, they are entirely hand-made and only guaranteed raw materials are used. This is definitely an interesting strategy, but Italian companies haven't exploited it too much.
The dormeuse Musa is especially worth mentioning among the most traditional products. In fact, because of the strong organic inspiration of its design, it looks like a bizarre sculpture when it's in the vertical position and it's not used. Other particular products are the sofa and the armchair Trendy, which looks a bit retro, and the odd sociable Zanzibar, which is an interesting updated version of eighteenth century models with its opposing seats.
