GIORGETTI Giorgetti, founded in 1898 is a company with more than one century experience in wood-working and carved wood furnishings. After more than a century of activity the company is still led by the descendants of the founder Luigi Giorgetti and characterizes its production enriched by the experience gained in so many years. Smart furnitures, made to last, realized with wide use of wood and valuable material, cared in details with the same care of old times, enriched by the possibilities offered by the most modern production-technologies. Giorgetti production keeps a clear link with the tradition of the most classic furnishing style and covers all kind of furnishings. As we can see from the catalogue the production goes from beds to chairs, from tables to armchairs, to bookcases, and desks. Since the end of the 80's the company has totally renewed, opening its doors to designers able to give the production new inputs, without however going too far from their own origins, tied to a traditional and well cared taste in the details. Designers as Massimo Scolari, who also is the company art director, Leon Krier, Chi Wing Lo, Nicola Adami, Laura Silvestrini collaborate with the Research & developments Center, directed by Umberto Asnago, who supports the design activity. The work of the designers involved by Giorgetti has allowed the realization of solid, products able to join to the ancient ebanist tradition, legacy of the company, a design that makes them modern and precious.
