 IL COCCIO UMIDIFICATORI

Il Coccio Umidificatori is well known for its research on topics such as health, well-being and, more generally, the relation with the environment both form an aesthetic and functional point of view. On the basis of this research, it has recently tested new fields, different form those examined manufacturing humidifiers. Consequently, the company decided to create new collections of vases for flowers, plants and pot-pourri which have strong design characteristics. Some of the vases are Vasetto by Carla Ceccariglia, Corolla by Anna Gigli and Ninfa by Giovanni Levanti.
All the vases are manufactured using very refined porcelain, able to guarantee protection and functionality. Besides, the same porcelain offers a kind of surface which is not stiff and can thus allow decoration and several types of working.
The shapes of the vases can be partly considered new interpretations of the traditional "red earthenware vases" and partly alternative to them. Their style and their aesthetic characteristics are innovative and very beautiful.
We could say that Il Coccio Umidificatori has succeeded in creating a new collection of objects elaborating a new idea of domesticity carried out within a special programme. However, the same philosophy of the company can be found in the most popular projects such as Decorando, Il coccio d'autore, Fischietto by Achille Castiglioni. With its archetypal shape and porcelain finishings, it is the humidifier for our future house.
