Call for Artists: Urban identity - Video Art & Architecture event at Digital Art Expo International in the Gallery Row area of Downtown Los Angeles (August 14-16, 2008). The event involves exhibits by area galleries, video installations at the Regent Theatre, circuit bender street music, street projections, video screenings at theaters and galleries. The event is in collaboration with the Downtown Los Angeles Film Festival and SIGGRAPH, a huge computer graphics and art convention at the L.A. Convention Center.
The deadline for applications is June 30, 2008.

AISR (Aziende Italiane Stampaggio Rotazionale, Italian Companies Rotational Moulding) as part of our promotion of the technology and potential of rotational moulding in the world of design, is launching the fourth edition of the Ideas Competition Rotationa Design 2008. This year the competition ask to the parteciparts to design an object in relationship with water, which uses a significant quantity of rotomoulded plastic components The object could be for domestic or urban use, public or private, for work or fun; for example: bathroom furniture; nautical furniture; nautical accessories; mini swimming pool; toys with water; tanks; kayaks; water containers for indoor uses; urban furnitures for ports, beaches, swimming pools, etc.
Projects must be submitted by e-mail to info@rotationaldesign.org by and not after 30th June 2008.

The Centro Cultural Montehermoso Kulturunea, in accordance with its desire to support creation and research in contemporary art and thought, announces a call for entries for a series of grants: MONTEHERMOSO 08 Art and Research Grants . The objective of this initiative, which is promoted by the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, is to facilitate the production of thirteen selected projects in the following categories: Art Project Production, Curatorship, Research, Film Scripts. Authors of any nationality, regardless of age, can present their projects individually or collectively.

Considering the relevant pictorial tradition that has always existed in Castellón, the Honourable County Council created in 2004 the Castellón County Council International Painting Prize.
