Single spout aerator or cascade mixer, in which the flow and temperature of the water are controlled directly through movements of the faucet by hand. Finishes: matt or polished chrome, brushed nickel, white, black or gold. The spout has a constant diameter of 40 centimeters. «OnlyOne» is part of a complete set of faucets and fittings. «OnlyOne» combines two normally separate functions: faucet and spout. In fact the mixer is moved like a joystick to open or close the jet of water. The temperature of the water is also varied by moving it to the left or right. This required long and complicated engineering: it suffices to think of the need to isolate the flow of water from the metal wall to prevent the transfer of heat by conduction and allow the mixer to be handled even in the presence of boiling water. Or the necessity of making sure that the water still emerged at the center of the basin even when the mixer was shifted to the right or left to obtain hot or cold water. «OnlyOne» was presented at Cersaie in 2006. In 2007 it won the Good Design Award of the Chicago Athenaeum and in 2008 was given an honorable mention at the Compasso d'Oro |
