Alivar is a highly dynamic company that gives constant attention to the latest architecture and design trends.
Since its establishment in 1984, the company has followed the design masterpiece road with its excellent Museum collection which has made it famous as the only company offering a full range of historic pieces of great design names: Alvar Aalto, Eileen Gray, Eero Saarinen, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, George Nelson to name but a few.
After a decade of success Alivar has taken the opportunity to upgrade its role in the furnishings field through the proposal of a series of new collections: Home Project and Brilliant Furniture.
In this important updating project the role of the architect Giuseppe Bavuso has proved very important, and he has been responsible for the design of the Home Project range. The name itself reflecting the style of the company production, featuring a winning blend of design excellence, quality, innovation, practicality and functional excellence. Thanks to these distinguishing features all the elements can be easily set in any kind of environment from the most elaborate to the most minimalist, from the most traditional to the modern.
At the Milan International Furniture Fair 2007, Alivar presents the new objects for the Home Project collection:
Daytona, design Giuseppe Bavuso
The latest in the field of upholstered products is a range of highly comfortable padded seats and backs to assure impeccable relaxation. Daytona is an excellent response to the ongoing market demand, a model that boasts sleek styling and which is ideal for every kind of setting. This latest it range by Alivar features a series of padded products consisting of modular sofas, dormeuse and ottomans, to make up a made to measure living area that fully meets living space requirements.

It is a range that features a very comfortable and original armchair together with a series of low tables of different sizes. The armchair has a steel frame, while the covers are available in either leather or imitation leather of different colours.

This model has been conceived to act as a functional containing element, as well as being a highly tasteful furnishing elements, with three drawers and three spacious container units.

A new chair which further enhances the extensive Alivar product range. This modern article is made of plastic Polymer "San" thanks to an exclusive bi-injection technique. Lollipop is therefore the ideal solution for all kinds of setting whether they be modern or traditional, minimalist or ornate. A design product that is capable of combining both quality and innovation, and which can be easily combined with both round and rectangular shaped tables. The stackable chair features a deep back that assures excellent comfort.
