KRISTALIA / MILAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR 2005

Kristalia was founded in 1994 by young local entrepreneurs.
Right from the very start, Kristalia paid special attention to innovative projects, by means of experimentation and the continuing search for new technical solutions, using materials which they adapted from the fields of fashion and sports.
In the autumn of 1995, Kristalia presented its first catalogue to the commercial network.
The intended target for the first products was a middle-aged consumer, oriented towards contemporary furnishing, in the upper-middle economic range and with the need to find reassuring tastes and details, bound to tradition, in the things he or she purchases.

Today, the Kristalia collection offers items that stand out because of the essential character, the ease of placement, and which take into account a younger age group, in line with the current needs of daily living.

This year at the Milan International Furniture Fair, Kristalia presents the following products.
Face, a stackable chair by Luca Nichetto, also for outdoor use, with anodized aluminium legs and single frame in hard moulded polyurethane. This material, which is very sturdy and easy to clean, make the seat versatile and usable in both homes and common areas. The hole in the back, which is also useful as a handle, ensure flexibility and greater conformity to the body of the occupant.
Also available in a single-colour version with legs in painted aluminium.

Cocoon, by Bartoli Design, is a fashionable floor-standing halogen lamp with diffuser in satin-finish milk white blown glass with structure and base in matt white painted steel. A shaped parabolic reflector projects the light downwards, through the diffuser so that it is pleasantly diluted, as well as upwards.

A table and a bench or service top at the same time, CU by Monica Graffeo is a versatile and practical object to use anywhere, also outdoors, next to a sofa, near a bed or even in the garden or a public place. Made of rigid moulded polyurethane, a material which is very sturdy and easy to clean, it is available in two sizes and three colours.

The production realized by Kristalia also includes the small armachair for office Mantis – by Paolo Zani –, Spor – a floor lamp by Christian von Ahn –, Olivia and Giorgina – leather seats by Kreative and by Bluezone –, Sushi – the line of occasional tables with an anodised aluminium structure and an Alucompact® layered laminate or glass top by Bartoli Design –, the floor-standing adjustable lamp Nude with a counterweight and ceiling-hung with a steel structure painted with aluminium coloured epoxy powders and a Plexiglas diffuser – by Delineodesign –, the seats Fata, Chair, Free, Free stool and Free light – by Monica Graffeo – ,and also the soft chair and stool Boum designed by Monica Graffeo and Ruggero Magrini. In the latest video by the american singer Mariah Carey shown on music channels at the moment, Boum PU12 green swivel chairs appear.
